ABOUT
I’m a London-based stencil artist working out of a home studio in Kensal. Paving a move away from traditional portraiture to something more unexpected, my pieces aim to give lasting value to photographic imagery that we love, but often remains buried and forgotten in our digital devices. THE PROCESS
Each piece I produce is a one-off, inspired by photographs that have captured the hearts and imagination of my clients. I translate these moments of magic from photo to final artwork using hand-cut stencils and spray paint, giving a contemporary twist to traditional portraiture. In an age of mass-produced automation, this meticulous handcrafted process is a welcome change from 21st century norms.
SIZING
I offer 4 sizes at present. Approx: A4, A3, A2 and A1.
FRAMING
All my framing is bespoke and uses conservation techniques. The signature option floats the painting 5mm off the back of a box frame to create a dynamic texture. A coloured spacer inside the frame is added to create further depth and visual impact. These frames allow for the deckled edges of the paper to be shown. Other options are of course available.
Lead times
Generally 6-7 weeks, including framing. Depending on the number of pieces progressing through the studio, urgent commissions can sometimes be fast-tracked for an additional fee. Please get in touch for further details.
